On behalf of the Bayside South RSL Sub Branch, Secretary George Bedford made a generous donation to our Scout Group today, with Group Leader Darryl Bennett accepting the donation on behalf of the Group.
“We were very proud of the contribution the Mount Cotton Scouts [Venturer Scouts] made to our Dawn Service on Anzac Day and wanted to say thank you by way of a donation” Sub Branch Secretary George Bedford said.
“It is always a privilege to be invited to the Bayside South RSL Sub Branch Dawn Service event and our Venturers love the opportunity to get involved and to be an active part of the event and to show their respect to those who have protected our country and way of life” said Group Leader Darryl Bennett.
The donation will help fund repairs to the Mount Cotton Scout Group facilities as a result of the damage caused by the significant weather event earlier in the year.
