The Redland City Council has provided Council Grants to the Mount Cotton Scout Group many times over many years. This year they have provided a grant to upgrade our electrical infrastructure. This allows up to upgrade our fire safety alarms, add security cameras to project our facilities, get setup for 3-phase which underpins our future development projects, and ensures we are up to the latest electrical codes and requirements.
Each Year the Mount Cotton Scout Group signs up to the Grill’d Local Matters program. Each time you buy a burger from Grill’d you get a token to put in the jar of your favourite community group. There are 3 community groups involved each month. The group with the most tokens at the end of the month wins a nice cheque, with the other 2 groups also getting a smaller cheque.
Scouts Queensland is a Fair Play activity provider which means families who are eligible for a $150.00 Fair Play voucher can redeem their voucher with our Scout Group to fund your semester fees. Click on the image above to check your eligibility and to apply for a voucher. If eligible you can apply for a voucher per child. Once you have received your voucher, sign it and email it to our Group Leader.
