The Joey Unit is for boys and girls aged 5*—7 years old who love excitement and adventure. It provides an opportunity to develop physically, intellectually, socially, emotionally and spiritually through participation in an exciting educational program based on individual needs.
* Joeys need to have turned 5 and be eligible to attend primary school.
The development of Joey Scouts is through participation in group activities, which provide an opportunity for practicing team and leadership skills.
The program is simple, flexible, fun and exciting. It helps young people learn about themselves, nature and helping other as well as participation in an award scheme appropriate to the age.
